Some of the Cons of Steel Industry as a whole
- Bad Pollution, working conditions are horrible
- The biggest disadvantage of working with steel is that it is an excellent conductor of heat, so in colder areas, the heat can be absorbed into the structure and quickly lost.
- Mold also has a tendency of growing around steel studs in the winter.
- In a nutshell, Steel Industry needs more research work to incorporate new types of steel, to satisfy complex requirements.
Problem Statement: Tata
Steel is looking for an original idea that will use any aspect of
digital technology (cloud, mobile, Android, IoS etc ) to create an application or platform that can be integrated with the strategic
management requirements of the company. Since this is an Ideation
contest, no software need to be built but paper must contain the
following sections.
We propose an online game, where we expose the internal structure of TATA group to a certain extent to the outside world of experts, budding Civil and Chemical Engineers and Research Scholars, who are looking for a platform to showcase their talent in innovation. The game will be available in their website, the best possible solution will be presented in front of R&D dept. of TATA STEEL. If it looks feasible as well as attractive, the solution will go for an substantiation. The respective scholar will be awarded with a job offer/Internship offer/ prize money.
